Chapter 14 — About
About the Compendium
What this guide is, what it is not, and why it exists.
AboutCompiled from public sources·Updated June 2025
The Frantzén Compendium is an independent informational resource about Restaurant Frantzén in Stockholm. It exists for a simple reason: information about one of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants is scattered across guidebook entries, news items, group websites and hundreds of individual accounts. This guide gathers the documented picture into one organized, readable reference for people researching or planning a visit.
What this guide is
- A compilation of public information. Every factual claim here traces to publicly available sources: the restaurant and group’s own published materials, the Michelin Guide, established rankings, and published accounts.
- Independent and unofficial. The Compendium has no relationship of any kind with Restaurant Frantzén or the Frantzén Group — no affiliation, sponsorship, commission or communication.
- A planning aid. The practical chapters — availability, planning, dress code, FAQ — exist to answer the questions prospective visitors actually search for.
What this guide is not
- Not a review. The Compendium does not rate the restaurant or claim first-hand dining assessments. Where guest sentiment is described, it is attributed to published accounts.
- Not a concierge service. Visits cannot be arranged here; everything happens directly with the restaurant.
- Not current by default. Prices, hours and policies change. This guide records the documented picture at time of writing and flags verification throughout.
